With Jennifer Bires, LICSW
Being diagnosed with cancer is difficult, and sometimes it is hard for family and friends to understand exactly what you’re going through. We hope this support group will help you feel less isolated and allow you to make connections with others facing a similar challenge. This group is designed so that you can share common concerns, fears and coping strategies with other people who have been in similar shoes. Participants will explore their experience with cancer and other matters of importance in their lives in a group setting, with a trained social worker, and work towards improving their lives.
Cancer Support Group is held twice per month, on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month. Spring sessions will be held from 6:00-7:30pm on the following dates:
- May 1 – Additional May session added to calendar!
- May 8
- May 22
- June 12
- June 26
Please RSVP to Kiersten at 202.483.8600 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
