Why should we think about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)? In this talk Jonathan Gilbert will explore the wisdom and healing life practices of TCM that are as valid today as they were 2000 years ago. He will explain how these valuable insights from the past can be brought into our present day lives to enrich our wellbeing. Topics will include acupuncture, art, herbal medicine and more.
Our programs are open to the community, and tailored to meet the needs of people affected by cancer. Classes and workshops are free or low cost on a pay-as-you-can basis, ensuring that our programs are accessible to everyone.
About Jonathan Gilbert NCCAOM
Jonathan Gilbert is a DC based acupuncturist who specializes in the treatment of Neurological and immune system disorders and has been working with NP for the last two decades. In this presentation he will explain the use of Acupuncture for those living with NP as well as guiding us through an Eastern classical perspective on health and wellbeing. From his clinical studies in Vietnam to modern day Washington DC, Jonathan Gilbert has studied with some of the foremost practitioners in Traditional Chinese Medicine in the world as well as having a few adventures along the way!
