Facilitated by Jennifer Bires, LICSW & Joanne Assarsson, LICSW OSW-C
- Weekly on Mondays, 6-7:30pm
Being diagnosed with cancer is difficult, and sometimes it is hard for family and friends to understand exactly what you’re going through. We hope this support group will help you feel less isolated and allow you to make connections with others facing a similar challenge. This group is designed so that you can share common concerns, fears and coping strategies with other people who have been in similar shoes. Participants will explore their experience with cancer and other matters of importance in their lives in a group setting, with a trained social worker, and work towards improving their lives.
Led by Joanne Assarsson November 2 & 9. Led by Jennifer Bires November 16, 23 & 30.
Please RSVP to Kiersten at 202.483.8600 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
