The Human Journey

One-Day Workshop with Maura Singer

- Saturday, October 8, 11:00am - 5:00pm

Join us for this special daylong workshop where you will be introduced to a 5-step process based on "The Hero's Journey" for navigating illness, grief and loss. It is aimed towards those living with illness, or those experiencing any kind of grief or loss. Our day together will use guided meditation, movement, reflection and creative expression to explore the archetypal human journey of impermanence, illness, and healing.

During our day we will:

—Introduce a model based in Joseph Campbell's work for mapping the archetypal journey of illness, grief, loss and healing.
—Enjoy meditation, qigong, and relaxing.
—Do right brain creativity exploration through writing, drawing, moving and singing.
—Eat a mindful meal together. (Please bring bag lunch or you may obtain lunch nearby from local, reasonably-priced, healthy restaurants.)

"My experiences at the retreat were so amazing and truly enjoyable. I decided to give the tiger roar you led us through in class a try. After looking out for any "interlopers"...I let go with three roars to expel negativity then three more to celebrate a past positive experience...It felt fantastic!" - Recent Workshop Participant

Attendance is limited to 10 participants. Please be sure to RSVP if you are interested.

Please note that this workshop has been moved from August 6th to Saturday, October 8, from 11:00am - 5:00pm. Sign up below for the new date!
