Batik is a popular textile art from Indonesia that centers the mind and liberates the heart through creativity. In this 3-part series, you will make a t-shirt using a simple batik painting process. One t-shirt will be provided. You may bring a second t-shirt to create another design if you wish. Please plan to attend all three sessions to complete your project.
This 3-part workshop will be held on:
- February 2 - Paint a design on a t-shirt using a DIY non-toxic fabric glue
- February 9 - Use fabric paints to color the pattern around your glue design
- February 16 - Remove the glue to reveal your final design
Suggested donation: $25 (includes one t-shirt and all materials)
