Chocolate Making ClassPampering yourself with chocolate may be the best therapy. This workshop blends the healing of the body that comes from doing something that makes you feel good with the healing of the mind that comes from participating in a creative act. What better way to spend a morning than tasting and making chocolate?

In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to make custom Belgian chocolates to celebrate wherever you are in life, or in your cancer journey.

Participants in this workshop will learn:

  • About and taste the different flavor characteristics of chocolates
  • About the taste and impact spices have on chocolate
  • About the health benefits of spices, dried fruit and nuts, and chocolate
  • How to make mendiants (small chocolate disks with dried fruits and nuts on top)
  • How to make rochers (chocolate mixed with nuts and formed into small rock-shaped chocolates)
  • How to pack and wrap chocolate the Belgian way

Because we will be using nuts, if you have a nut allergy, please refrain from registering for this workshop.
