Creative Journaling: Art and Writing to Increase Wellbeing

Creative Journaling, a process originally developed by art therapist Lucia Cappachone, combines writing with art-making to deepen the exploration and insight that can be gained from the journaling process. These workshops are designed for everyone, regardless of artistic or writing ability. Be sure to bring a journal to work in. All other materials will be provided. Please bring a bag lunch.

Please note that space is limited to 12 participants to ensure the best possible program quality. If the program has filled to capacity, we can place you on the waiting list and let you know if/when a space becomes available.

Rebecca Wilkinson, MA, ATR-BC, is an art therapist native to DC returning after many years away in the Southwest. Rebecca is a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist who received her training from the George Washington University. She currently works at Washington Adventist Hospital and serves as Adjunct Faculty at the George Washington University. Rebecca maintains both a personal and a professional commitment to the transformative potential of the creative process and of mind/body healing in managing physical, mental, and spiritual distress.
