"Art holds out the promise of inner wholeness."
Over a four-week period, Smith Center Executive Director Shanti Norris will lead you through simple but profound exercises that will open up your creative process as you paint, draw or collage your way to relaxation, new ideas, insights and fun in the company of a lively community.
You don't need to be an artist or consider yourself artistically gifted to reap the benefits of discovering your creative self in a safe and nurturing environment. This class will focus on the journey (the process) over the destination (the output). Supplies are provided. Participants are encouraged to take part in all 4 classes, but you may attend individual sessions, if desired.
Our programs are open to the community, and tailored to meet the needs of people affected by cancer. Classes and workshops are free or low cost on a pay-as-you-can basis, ensuring that our programs are accessible to everyone.
Suggested Donation for Each Session $10
