With author Susan Beilby Magee
- Friday, June 28, 6:30-8pm
Join us as cancer survivor, healer and author Susan Beilby Magee shares the life-lessons of Kalman Aron, a gifted artist who emerged from the ashes of the Holocaust to explore the nature of humankind and the mystery of life - all on canvas. A powerful, visual record unfolds of Aron's remarkable journey from darkness into light. Magee shows the evolution of his art over six decades and reveals his answers to universal questions: What happens to the rage, sorrow and despair? Does one choose to remember, forgive, and heal? Healing himself through his art, Aron's example offers hope to all.

Scholarships & Giving Back
We aim to offer free and low-cost programs, affordable to anyone who would like to participate. If you would like to attend a program, but find the cost to be a barrier, fill out a scholarship request form or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Full or partial scholarship assistance is available for most programs.
As a nonprofit, we rely on your support to keep our programs going. Registration fees cover less than half of what it costs to provide our programs. If you're able to give a little extra (or a lot), it will help ensure that all who are in need of Smith Center's resources will receive them.
