About Leslie Rice
Leslie Rice, RYT-200 strongly believes in the life changing and healing aspects of Yoga. She took her first 200 hour teacher training in Yin and Vinyasa Yoga from Tina Lanzoni in Annapolis, Maryland. Leslie’s desire to deepen her practice lead to taking her second 200 hour teacher training in Rishikesh India for traditional Hatha style Yoga. While living in India for two months surrounded by the Himalayas and the Ganga, Leslie studied asana, pranayama, meditation, and Yoga Nidra extensively, deepening her practice and driving her life’s passion to return to the states and pass on these healing, transformative practices.
Leslie enjoys teaching the meditative practice of yoga encouraging her students to go inward, facilitating stillness while making that beautiful connection with one’s innermost self. She also enjoys teaching Vinyasa flow, moving rhythmically with the breath. Her students have said her classes feel like a dance with one’s breath. Leslie has studied with numerous international teachers whom she is devotedly grateful to. Leslie has one grown daughter and resides in Deale Maryland. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, practicing yoga, volunteering and traveling.
