Move Learn Create workshops

Featuring social dance styles, conversation, and hand-to-hand partnering, the class is a well-paced and refreshing experience for dancers and those newer to dance. All are welcome.

Our programs are open to the community, and tailored to meet the needs of people affected by cancer. Classes and workshops are free or low cost on a pay-as-you-can basis, ensuring that our programs are accessible to everyone.

Margot GreenleeAbout Margot Greenlee

Margot completed her MFA at The Ohio State University in 1999. She served as a company member with the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange 1999 – 2007 where she is now an Associate Artist. Her major projects with the Dance Exchange included the Hallelujah Project, a 17-city residency and performance tour; Wild Thing, a children’s performance directed by Celeste Miller which toured the greater DC region and beyond; a project at the Kyoto Arts Center in collaboration with Japan’s Contemporary Dance Network; and Ferocious Beauty: Genome, a collaboration with scientists across the country focused on bioethics and the future of genetic research.

In addition to her work in healthcare, educational and corporate settings, she creates performance art pieces that involve scripting, songwriting, acting, storytelling, dancing and singing. She is a published author. She’s a dancer who talks.
