Qi refers to the life force that is in all things, whether we speak of plants or human beings. When the Qi flows we have balance, harmony, transformation and health. When it doesn't flow the Qi becomes imbalanced and it leads eventually to illness.
Through practicing Qigong there is the opportunity to move Qi in ways that correct the places where energy gets stuck and to work on stimulating the immune system.
During this 2 hour workshop we will focus on exercises that use movement, breath and intention that specifically stimulate breast health for all women and will be particularly useful for those dealing with breast cancer. This will be an opportunity to learn techniques that will help promote health for you and move energy that you are storing in this part of the body.
Our programs are open to the community, and tailored to meet the needs of people affected by cancer. Classes and workshops are free or low cost on a pay-as-you-can basis, ensuring that our programs are accessible to everyone.
