About the Exhibition

The Greater Washington, D.C. region (the DMV) boasts world-class art museums, numerous galleries, non-profits, and alternative art spaces, fostering one of the nation’s most vibrant visual art scenes.

In 2023, local curator and artist Florencio Lennox Campello proposed an exhibition featuring 100–150 works by women artists—both established and emerging—to highlight the talent and diversity of the region’s female creators. With over two years in the making, the Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery is honored to be able to debut this show.

This exhibition will open on August 29th, with an Opening Reception at 6:30 pm.

We invite you to join the Curator Conversation: an evening with Lenny Campello. Date and time TBD.
