This exhibition will open on Friday, August 25th, with an Opening Reception from 6-9 pm.
Not Limited to the Human Condition critiques the physical limitations of one’s body by offering an eccentric perspective to the viewer. The featured artists challenge the notion that the form of an animal or human can be viewed as purely corporeal, while confronting archaic portrayals of physical form. Some may regard man and animal to exist as erect and stable, growing in a linear fashion. However, when one views life as existing beyond physicality, the evolution of one’s human experience is anything but. Autonomous beings are ever changing; we invite you to experience the unconventional meaning of existence that is Not Limited to the Human Condition.
