Lauren Broschak, MSW, LCSW, LICSW, OSW-C

Lauren is a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia and Washington, D.C., and a certified oncology social worker. She is the owner of Kindroot Counseling, where she specializes in supporting couples navigating relationships and intimacy as well as individuals who have been diagnosed with or impacted by cancer and chronic illness, sexuality, women’s health, and young adulthood. Lauren earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan, along with certificates in sex therapy and sexuality education from the university’s Sexual Health Certificate Program. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to health social work, with experience spanning community clinics, long-term care, and nearly a decade in cancer centers.
