Join us for “Creative Collective”, an inspiring creative ‘break’ from the noise of day-to-day. Denise Feldman, a local mixed-media artist and cancer thriver, hosts this quarterly gathering in (virtual) community sharing her casual, creative approach to relaxing expression. In each quarterly workshop Denise will share a new project and demonstrate the processes she uses to create, including her tips and techniques for using creativity as a healing practice. No experience needed, and all are welcome!
Workshop #3: Affirmation Tags and Meditative Tassels
In this workshop we’ll use simple materials you may already have in your craft supplies or junk drawer to create these scrappy and meaningful additions to your creative toolkit:

-Scrap message tags
-Scrap fiber tassels
Denise will share her mixed media, multi-layered collage processes, including two techniques for doing image transfers.
The possibilities are endless – handmade tags can be used as affirmation cards, left as ‘random acts of art’ in your community, shared with friends, hung as garlands/banners, or displayed. Tassels are great on doorknobs, added to journals, or hung from mirrors.
Even if you don’t have all the materials already, bring what you’ve got and we’ll make it work!
