Community Cancer Education Programs & Events

In addition to wellness programs held at our U Street Center, our Community Navigators lead a variety of creative, engaging education and outreach programs in our community. The purpose of our programs is to raise awareness of our free patient navigation services and to educate the community on cancer treatment and integrative cancer care resources, wellness and cancer prevention. Venues for our programs include churches, senior citizen centers, shelters, African embassies, mosques, community libraries, women’s groups, and community events.

Our presentations, discussions and workshops cover a variety of topics, including:
