Painting for Life: An Exhibition of Healing Through Art: Opening Reception
About the Exhibition
The Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery at the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts presents Painting For Life, a vibrant selection of intuitive paintings created by participants in Noelle Imparato’s long-running Painting For Life workshops and Do Your Own Red Book program. This exhibition will open on Thursday, June 25th, with an Opening Reception from 6–8 PM.
Rooted in creativity, mindfulness, and emotional healing, these works reveal how art can become a path of transformation, resilience, and inner discovery. Made by participants of all backgrounds—no previous art experience required—each painting offers an authentic glimpse into the healing imagination.
This exhibition celebrates the power of image-making to restore connection, to self, to spirit, and to one another.
