Andrea Levine

Andrea Levine is a social worker in private practice in Washington, DC, who works with adults across the lifespan, young adults, including college students, and adolescents. Areas of clinical focus include people experiencing life transitions, cancer and chronic illness, grief and loss, and relationship and parenting issues. She was very fortunate to do a year-long internship at Smith Center, where she provided individual therapy, co-facilitated the Caregiver Support Group and the Gynecologic Cancer Support Group, and offered a program on “Writing Your Cancer Narrative.” Before her social work career, she spent many years teaching English and writing at George Washington University and serving as an editor at a DC-based health and education non-profit.
