Dr. Katarina AuBuchon

Dr. Katarina AuBuchon is a Research Scientist at MedStar Health Research Institute and Assistant Professor of Oncology at Georgetown University. Her research focuses on improving cancer care by examining how communication and system-level factors shape symptom management, pain treatment, and health equity for patients with cancer. She is passionate about ensuring all patients are able to effectively manage symptoms during and after cancer treatment. She lives in Washington, DC with her lovely family and enjoys knitting, dancing at concerts and music festivals, and hiking with her 5 dogs.
