Megan Cannone, LCSW-C, OSW-C, OPN-CG

Megan Cannone is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), Certified Oncology Social Worker (OSW-C), and Oncology Patient Navigator (OPN-CG). For more than 15 years, she has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments, with a focus on oncology, chronic illness, grief, and end-of-life care. She earned her MSW from Western Carolina University in 2009 and have since worked across diverse settings, including psychiatric care, hospice, oncology navigation, and private practice. Her experience includes years in hospice and palliative care, where she walked alongside patients and families through the complexities of serious illness, as well as her work at the Ulman Foundation, where she supported young adults with cancer and facilitated community-based support groups. Currently, she provides psychotherapy through Grow Therapy and serves as a clinical supervisor for social workers pursuing licensure. Her approach to therapy is relationship-centered, grounded in empathy, and informed by evidence-based practices. She strives to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are coping with illness, grief, anxiety, or a major life transition, she works to help you build resilience, find clarity, and discover pathways toward healing. Beyond her clinical work, she is actively involved in professional organizations, serve on the Board of Directors for the Hospice & Palliative Care Network of Maryland, and volunteers within her local community.
