This group offers a culturally affirming space specifically for Black individuals impacted by cancer. Research consistently demonstrates disparities in cancer outcomes and access to supportive care among Black communities. Beyond these disparities, many Black patients navigate cancer while carrying the expectations of strength, caregiving responsibilities, historical mistrust of healthcare systems, concerns surrounding identity and appearance, and experiences that are often not centered within traditional support spaces. Join us in this supportive space where we can show up as ourselves and support one another.
