Maryland Oncology Hematology was founded in 1986 by Dr. Jon Minford and was the first to provide medical oncology and hematology care to residents in the growing Howard county area of Maryland.  MOH grew to a very well established practice with five full time oncologists until 2011 when they expanded to include the addition of six additional physicians located in the Washington, DC suburbs of Silver Spring, Greenbelt, and Laurel, Maryland. In 2012, Maryland Oncology Hematology extended its reach with the addition of two additional physicians in Wheaton, Maryland and eight in Clinton and Lanham, Maryland. Today, Maryland Oncology Hematology is the largest independent Medical Oncology and Hematology group in Maryland with over 66 physicians practicing in 18 locations across central Maryland.
